Senior Bridal Sales Consultant

Swoon is on the hunt for a Senior Bridal Sales Consultant to add to our company.  We are looking for someone who is exceptional and who has shares our love of fashion, people, and hustle. 

WHO WE ARE

Swoon is Reno/Tahoe’s premiere bridal boutique.  We curate a Swoon-worthy collection of gowns and accessories for brides who value style and individuality.  We work to establish authentic connections with our customers and give them an incredible gown shopping experience.   We were named as one of the Top Bridal Salons by Grace Ormonde Weddings in 2017 and 2018 and one of the Top Fifty Bridal Salons by BRIDES Magazine in 2016.  We are locally owned and operated and fiercely rooted in our Reno/Tahoe community.   

THE ROLE

As a Senior Bridal Sales Consultant you will be working directly with brides to understand them and their stories and to find beautiful things that they will have and remember for their entire lives. It requires having the right instincts with people and fashion.  It’s intimate work.

It’s for someone who enjoys the thrill of helping to manage a complicated operations system and has excellent customer service.  We are problem solvers.  We are planners.  We like lists.  We live by our calendars. 

We are creatives and we like creative people.

This is also an exceptional opportunity to work in fashion in Reno.  We work intimately with some of the best bridal designers in the world.  We live and breathe bridal fashion.  We love good design and fit and finish.

Style

First and foremost, we are looking for someone with a strong sense of personal style who can read and dress someone else’s individual look and personality. Backgrounds in fashion or merchandising or retail are interesting to us.

The Ability to Sell

Our ideal applicant is someone who can listen to a customer, engage her friends and family, understand the brides needs, match her with her perfect gown, and then effortlessly close the sale.  We value a goal oriented team member with a desire to exceed expectations.

The Ability to Deliver Swoon-worthy Customer Service

It is important to us to find someone who truly values Swoon and the aesthetic and professionalism we bring to the table. The ideal candidate for this position would genuinely desire to create the best shopping experience possible for customers and truly make them feel #OverTheMoonAtSwoon

A True Professional

A college education is preferred, but not critical for the right person. Managerial experience is always a plus. Tech savvy is a desired trait. Demonstrated proficiency is social media management is another valued skill. We value creative, proactive, detail-oriented employees who are passionate about what they do and act with poise. Experience in the bridal industry is not required, but doesn’t hurt. We are a small family here at Swoon. We love what we do and we work hard for our brides.


REQUIREMENTS & INFO

This position is full-time. 

Salary range:  $37,000-$44,000 (depending on experience + performance).  Paid vacation.  

Saturdays are a requirement

This is a Tuesday-Saturday position.
